How Slow the Wind

"How Slow the Wind"

"How Slow the Wind"
Daikanyama Installation 2007 Invited Exhibition
November 11, 2007 to November 25, 2007
Giant arrows about the size of a human being are scattered in the common space in front of Daikanyama Address Tower. The arrows change their directions as the wind blows. The directions of the arrows are continuously updated by wind that is created by high-rises and blows in various directions and by children that play in the common space. When pedestrians notice different sceneries at the end of the directions that the arrows point, they can relate to their surrounding environments beyond the particular space that they stand.
